Angel Fan Yim Hung, FHEA

Ms Angel Fan is an experienced educator and academic whose career has spanned tertiary teaching, teacher development, and educational research since 2007. She teaches English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and coordinates two electives at the Centre for English and Additional Languages (CEAL), Lingnan University. Previously, she worked at the Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), contributing to institutional research and teacher development initiatives, and serving as a teacher mentor for the Beijing International Program for Teacher Development (2019–2020). Her portfolio includes six years (2014–2019) as a part-time instructor for a distance undergraduate linguistics course, and in 2017 she served as a Teaching Practice Supervisor and Instructor in CUHK’s Faculty of Education, teaching an elective on Enrichment Activities for ELT and supervising practicums. She also serves as a reviewer on the editorial board of the International Journal of English Teaching and Learning.

A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE) since 2023, Angel is a doctoral researcher at the University of Bristol. She has secured and led multiple Teaching Development Grants to advance digitalised, AI-mediated, and blended language education. Her contributions to teaching excellence have been recognised through the Certificate of Merit in the Teaching Excellence Awards Scheme, awarded in 2024 and again in April 2026.

Alina Cristina Nuta, Ph.D.

Alina Cristina Nuta is a Professor Dr. Habil. in Finance at Danubius International University (full-time). She is an expert evaluator for the European Research Executive Agency - European Commission. She serves as an independent expert at the National Authority for Research - Ministry of Education and Research. She is a National Council for Attesting University Titles, Diplomas and Certificates (CNATDCU) Expert, named by the Education Ministry Order. She serves as a Projects evaluator in the Executive Unit for the Financing of Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI- Ministry of Education). In 2016, she became an External Quality Assurance Expert - at the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS), Economics- Finance. She also serves as a member of the Senate of Danubius International University, coordinating the Committee for Strategy, Institutional Development, and Quality Assurance, with over 19 years of teaching and research experience.

Mohamed Arafa, Ph.D.

Mohamed Arafa is a Professor of Law at Alexandria University Faculty of Law (Egypt) and an Adjunct Professor and Clarke Initiative Visiting Scholar at Cornell Law School. He is currently a Visiting Professor at the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research (IDP). He previously taught at Prince Sultan University (Saudi Arabia), Chandigarh University (India), the University of Brasília, and the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (Lebanon), among others.

Prof. Arafa holds an LL.B. from Alexandria University (2006), an LL.M. from the University of Connecticut (2008), and an S.J.D. from Indiana University (2013). His teaching and scholarship focus on criminal law, white-collar crime, Islamic law, transitional justice, international and comparative law, and Middle Eastern law. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in journals such as the Cornell Journal of International Law, Seattle Law Review, Marquette Law Review, and others, and with publishers including Oxford, Cambridge, Springer, and Edward Elgar. He is a contributor to JURIST, the American Society for Comparative Law Blog, and LSE’s Religion and Global Society Blog. He has lectured across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and the Arab world. He was formerly Managing Editor of Arab Law Quarterly and now serves on the editorial board of the LexisNexis Journal of Law in the Middle East.

Abdullah Laghari, Ph.D.

Dr Abdullah Laghari is working as Lecturer at the Department of English, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Nawabshah, Pakistan. He possesses a vast teaching experience at the university level. His research expertise lies in English Language Teaching, Professional Development, Teacher Education, etc. At his university, he has conducted several teacher education workshops, and seminars for novice and prospective teachers and professionals respectively. He has authored and co-authored many research articles in national and international journals. Dr Laghari has also presented many research papers at national as well as International conferences. He is recently done with his PhD research in Applied Linguistics from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He has completed a course "Professional Development of Teacher Trainers from Arizona University USA. He is also the reviewer of the International Journal of English Teaching and Learning. He is an Alumni of the Online Professional English Network OPEN. Besides, he is a member of 'The Society for Pakistani English Language Teachers' SPELT which is loacated in Karachi. At his University, he is a member of the Vice Chancellor's special committee 'The students' Consultative Bureau' SCB. Within a short period, Dr Laghari has emerged to be an innovative teacher, active researcher and master trainer.
