Personal Bio

Dr. Katarzyna Chrostowska-Malak is the Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences of the Warsaw University of Technology. She obtained her PhD in law in 2007 from the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. She specializes in constitutional and administrative law, with particular emphasis on the structure of public authorities, the administrative status of individuals, issues related to Polish citizenship, the legal status of foreigners in Poland, migration law, and labor law. In 2018/2019, she worked at the 26th Military Economic Unit in Zegrze to implement the GDPR system. She also conducted personal data protection training for soldiers and civilian employees of units subordinated to the Minister of National Defense (at the War Studies University in Warsaw). Since 2022, she has also specialized in judicial and extrajudicial mediation. At the Faculty of Law and Administration, Warsaw University of Technology, she lectures and conducts workshops on labor and administrative law, migration law, administrative proceedings with elements of e-government, and enforcement proceedings in administration. She has also taught subjects such as the constitutional system of state bodies and parliamentary law. She leads master's and bachelor's seminars and has supervised over one hundred theses in legal and social sciences.
